Lamborghini Miura P400

£25.00

OPW 8F is a very early RHD Miura, and was owned by Neil Lefley for many years. A true gent, he kindly moved the car into a photogenic spot for us one day in 1984. It was initially in the car park at Castle Donington – hemmed in by Escorts, Dolomites and MG Metros – but quickly moved to an outer field where we (and several other spotters) could get an unhindered view of it.

The car was seen at many events over the years: most recently (to my knowledge) on the Brooklands-to-Brighton Lamborghini Run in May 2006.

It also showed up at the 1985 Graypaul Motors (Ferrari) Test Day at Donington – where it duly distracted several onlookers from the assembled Maranello machines.
